Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT®) at Buchanan Optometrists is a fitting procedure that temporarily corrects or greatly reduces myopia (nearsightedness). The correcting lenses are worn overnight and removed in the morning, leaving the wearer with corrected, or greatly improved, vision for their waking hours.

Buchanan Optometrists use specially-designed lenses, which gently correct the shape of the cornea overnight, and are perfect for patients who want to see clearly during their day, free from any spectacles or contact lenses.

Unlike LASIK, Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT®) at Buchanan Optometrists does not require any surgery and is fully reversible. It is also a great option for younger myopia patients who are not old enough for LASIK, or whose vision is still changing.
